My Boyfriend Hanging out with Ex girlfriend and the Outcome

MY LOVER IS STAYING OVER AT HIS EX-LOVER’S HOUSE

My man is going for a 7 days trip to a different city and 2 days before he left, he told me he was going to
stay at his friend’s house who happens to be his ex-girlfriend.

There are still in contact because they are in the same group of friends.

He didn’t tell me anyway, he doesn’t even know I know about it; it was one of his closest friends (male)
who told me about it.

Is it awkward to think my boyfriend feels something for this lady? I don’t understand why he would go out of his ways to go stay with this friend considering the distance, risk and cost attached to it.

I got annoyed when he told me he was going to stay in her house during the vacation. What about the hotel?

I just couldn’t spill how uncomfortable I was with the idea maybe because I know it wouldn’t change anything since he told me 2 days to his travel; if he was going to take my opinion, I felt he was supposed to tell me before deciding where to stay.

He noticed I was uncomfortable with the decision, so he had to reassure me that nothing will happen and he honestly has not given me a reason to trust him and I’ve really been feeling very bad all day.

My thought

I understand that this is indeed sketchy and worth worrying over. My ex was physically and emotionally
abusive so I’m not sure if I’m just being insecure and overreacting since my boyfriend said nothing is going on between them.

I think I still have to give it a deep thought maybe when I’m alone, but I can’t even sleep and my heart aches weirdly.

Sincerely do not know what to do right now; I need someone to advice me!
