David Umahi, former governor of Ebonyi State has countered former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode over the accusation of him involving in his defecting to All Progressives Congress (APC).

The former minister of Aviation who announced his defecting the APC yesterday, had listed Umahi of Ebonyi state; Ben Ayade of Cross River, and Bello Matawalle of Zamfara as Governors he helped facilitate their defection.

However news from Channels Television on September 17 2021 stated that Umahi responded that it’s an insult to his person and other Governors. According to him, Femi Kayode has to withdraw the statement because he didn’t even know when he migrated to All Progrrssive Congress.

His report

“I think he needs to withdraw that statement, he’s my good friend but it was an insult to my person and the other governors.
“The man did not know when I moved but he incidentally visited me and he said he’s coming to join me with the other governors to declare. How would someone in the PDP be instrumental in my moving. A whole governor of a state, not even a small governor, an experienced one.

The PDP politician stated that the reason for switching parties is not because he lack money or funds but the situation is beyond his power. This have made alot of people in the internet concluding that there is something behind it.

Is it a spiritual battle or bribery?

Since the regime of Mohammed Buhari, FFK has spoken boldly against the present government. He also met people like Nnamdi Kanu, Sunday Ighodalo and others.

Lots of interviews have been made. People and his audience wants to know why he left PDP to APC but the former minister haven’t given any legit reply.

Don’t judge me, he stated. I have my reasons.
