IPOB Leader, Dr. Nnamdi Kanu Reacted To IGP Order To Arrest Igboho Sunday Over The Eviction Of Fulani Herdsmen In South West
Mazi Nnamdi Kanu IPOB Leader has reacted to the IGP order for the arrest of Yoruba youth leader. Sunday Igboho over eviction notice to Fulanis in the wastern land.
Governor Rotimi Akeredolu, issued a 7 day vacate to herdsmen occupying Ondo state forests. Accusing them of stealing, kidnapping and killings last week. Until today, they must leave the land.
In reaction to this, the Presidency made the statement that no one has right to tell herdsmen where to abide.
In addition to this, the south west Youth leader, Sunday Igboho held rallies this week warning herdsmen to leave the state. Accusing them of incessant robberies, kidnapping and killings.
He even dared Seyi Makinde Oyo state Governor to arrest him for defending the people of the land.
On 22nd of January, the Inspector-general of police (IGP), General Adamu gave an ordered to arrest Sunday Igboho, over the rally he made.
The IGP ordered Oyo commissioner of police, Ngozi to arrest Igboho and transfer him to the North, Abuja.
On top of the matter. The National President of Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore – Bello Abdullahi Bodejo in a new interview declared this. Nobody has the power to remove Fulani herdsmen from the state’s forests.
Bodejo declared that the Fulani’s own all the land in Nigeria and they value cows more than human beings. He said the Fulanis have settled in the Ondo Forest reserves for centuries and no one will force them to leave.
Dr. Nnamdi Kanu, has now reacted to this new development.
