Nigerian American Afrobeats supertar, David Adeleke also known as Davido, has taken to social media to express appreciation to himself.

This was after being ignored by his colleagues who are into music.

Musicians like wizkid, Burnaboy, 2face, etc.

Davido made history and made Nigerians proud as he, alongside Trinidad Cardona and AISHA, sang the 2022 World Cup soundtrack titled ‘Hayya Hayya’ (Better Together).

Taking to the microblogging platform Twitter. Davido said he is honoured with the feat, adding it is a win for Africa. He further stated: If they no celebrate you, blow your own fvcking horn”.

He ended the statement with a ‘thank you’ note

Many fans and music lovers storm social media platforms jubilating and praising Davido for making not just Nigerians but Africans proud.

Since this development and after his performance in Qatar on Friday night, 1st April 2022, many of his colleagues such as Burna Boy, Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, and Don Jazzy have remained mute over it.

Many social media users and fans averred that Davido is being hated because of his father’s money.

Some said that it’s connection, while some said that is an unfair advantage.

On twitter and Instagram, Davido and Wizkid fans have being fighting each other over Grammy and world cup opportunity.

A few hours ago, Davido took to the microblogging platform Twitter to hail him and thank himself for the latest achievement.
He wrote: “Thank you Davido”
