Inetimi Timaya Odon is a dancehall style musician popularly known by his stage name ‘Timaya’.

He began his music career with Eedris Idris Abdulkareem’s hip hop between 2001/2002. In 2005, He left to establish his own record label- ‘DM Records Limited’.

Timaya attended Assemblies of God Nursery and Primary School for his primary education and Nkpolu Oroworukwo for his secondary school education.

However, he moved to Lagos with his uncle where he got enrolled to Ikeja Grammar School. There he obtained a secondary school certificate.

After a while, He returned to Port Harcourt to study Banking and Finance at the University of Port Harcourt, but he dropped out of the school after performing woefully in his first examination.
