The Boko Haram Terrorists kills 9 soldiers in Nasarawa State

In Nasarawa state, a major road linking to Otukpo Oweto in Benue state. Nine soldiers lost their lives by Boko Haram in a rescue mission, at one of the forest along Udege road.

The soldiers who lost their lives are Iliya Kefas, Bati Yakubu, etc.  These soldiers were led to the forest by commander Kura Felix, a Benue state indigene.

The soldiers from 177 Guards Battalion, Shitu were on a mission to rescue the indigenes who were held captive by the Boko Haram Terrorists.

At first, five Boko Harams were shot dead in the open fire.

 

Report from the barracks :
“When we saw that the Boko Haram had more weapons, we ran into the Bush. Our commander Sergeant Kura told his colleagues including his cover to escape and save themselves.

“The family of the diseased have been informed. What a tragedy day for the families. Soo painful.

“We lost nine soldiers in the mission. It is heart broken.

“We are currently working with 4 Special Forces of the Nigerian military headquarters in Doma LGA of our state to reinforce and launch a reprisal against the terrorists, we are not giving up, for the sake of our heroes who lost their lives(soldiers) we must overrun them and make sure we totally conquer and defeat them.”
