Relationship: Should I Date a Her? [A Widow]

Relationship: Should I Date a Her? [A Widow]

SHOULD I DATE HER?

I have this 41 years old woman who just lost her husband suddenly in an auto crash, they have been married for 18year. He died 2years ago and left her with their 16 years old daughter. I will be 44 years in 2 months’ time.

She invited me to her house to finally meet with her friends and daughter after several hangouts. I think we are already developing feelings for each other and to crown it all; her daughter likes me as she said I remind her of her late dad.

My fear is that I’ve never dated a widow and come to think of it, I’m not the first person she has been hanging out with since she lost her husband and we’ve not had any form of intimacy, although we’ve been physical.

I know it’s not easy to lose a lover in such a horrible way, I understand her plight. I’ve been supportive and promised never to get mad at her for remembering her husband, talking about him or grieving over him.

I promised her I will always make my shoulder available for her to lean on whenever need be and I will always support her to my capacity in whatever be the situation.

I’m sure of my feelings for this lady, but I’m not sure if it’s actually the right thing to do. All this started from the first day I kissed her after dropping her off from work; I wasn’t myself throughout that night and the feelings has continued to grow stronger each time I see her. I barely go a day without wanting to meet with her. Should I say I’m falling in love?

I honestly do not know what to do right now; I need your sincere advice on this issue because I’m losing it already. Even if I would want to let her go, how about her daughter who is already getting used to me?
She even said I remind her so much about her dad; please, what should I do?
