Pursuit of Happiness – How to Stay Healthy Being Happy

Several researches has proven that happy people are the healthiest people- That is, people with less expectations from life and people who are satisfied with where they are in life generally can proudly boast of body weight, and stronger hearts than people who see life from the opposite direction.

Here are some ways to live a healthier life:

1. Be Inspired Not Jealous:

Why not see your colleague’s success as a source of motivation rather than being envious and jealous for no justifiable reason? If they can be in that position you desire, you as well can be there provided you pay the required price.

2. Turn That Frown To A Smile

Smiles make people wish to be with you. If you are the kind of person who find it very difficult to smile people won’t be very free to associate with you unlike someone who  always wear a bright face.

3. Forgive and Forget

When someone offend you don’t wait for them to come begging before you let go, just forgive and forget for your own good because when you fail to forgive, your peace of mind will be threatened. Forgiveness can sometimes be very difficult especially when the offense tempers with our integrity.

4. Stop playing the blame game

Be in charge of the situations around you and stop complaining too much to people about the difficulties life has thrown at you because everyone else has their own problems as much as you do. If you keep blaming and complaining to people around you, it will get to a stage where you will see no one to give you that listening ear anymore.

5. Exercise Blast Stress

Engaging in at least 1 hour exercise daily is medically recommended for a healthy living. No doubt, good health brings happiness because you cannot be happy when in pains. Constant exercise exposes your body to efficient blood flow, fresh oxygen, vitamin D and all these helps your body to remain healthy which keeps you happy.

6. Give Thanks

Learn to be satisfied and grateful for what you have and where you are in life because there are a lot of people who wish to have the life you are living already. It’s true that there are countless challenges in life and one needs to avoid being a victim of depression by appreciating what they already have while they honestly work for more.

7. Forget About the Past

Past life experience, wrong financial decisions made in your earlier days or maybe a breakup should not determine either your present or future. Allow the things of the past to remain in the past and concentrate more on how to better your future.
