Stories reaching to us is that Jude Nnam files 150 million naira at E- money and 5 start music. Mentioning that the song “somtochuckwu” belongs to him.

It became serious when he dragged Emeka Okonkwo (E-Money), Chinweike Okonkwo and five star company to court.

The song which was written 2001 belongs with every lyrics. Therefore you have no right to take any content from the song and republish. He said

You can’t adapt, produce, distribute, market, advertise and perform to the general public a song that doesn’t belong yo you. The worst part of it is, you didn’t tell me the producer before producing the song.

Mr. Jude also wants the court to compel the Defendants to render an account of the profit “SOM TOO CHUKWU” generated from the month of December 2020 till judgment. As well as sum of N150,000,000 fine.

In the Statement of Claim with Suit No: FHC/L/CS/304/202 made available to TheNigeriaLawyer.

Mr. Jude explained that “SOM TO CHUKWU”, was performed in accordance to his first daughter’s birthday. Thanking God for a gift.
This song is not meant for parties or gyrations. The song was composed for the church only. For offerings and thanksgivings.

Is a serious case. The song doesn’t belongs to them but 150 million naira fine is too much.
